Hi,
It's about Ubuntu 10.4 with sun-java-1.6_24 (was _22) and=20
openjdk-1.6_20, some Java based databases (H2 and mostly embedded=20
HSQLDB) connected to Base 3.3.
Additional Java parameters in the OOo options: Xms256m, Xmx512m

The one and only Java version that used to work normally was=20
sun-java-1.6_22 which I installed because the openjdk was slow.
Now my system upgraded to from sun-java-1.6_22 to _24 which causes=20
apparently the same performance as the openjdk. Queries take many=20
minutes where they used to take 15 seconds and editing subforms is a=20
pain because you have to wait for some seconds after each record change.=20
Is there any way to fix the problem by means of settings and parameters?
Off topic: If not, where do I get the older sun-java-1.6._22? Is ist=20
true that Oracle packages do not support any apt install? I see rpm=20
only. The rpm packages are not convertible to dpkg.
Thanks in advance,
Andreas S=E4ger
