Now to your question. We need a little bit more details what are you 
doing and how.

Did you develop with the SDK?

Or did you develop with NetBeans?

Anyway you always need an installed Office somewhere on the machine. The 
base jar files to develop for and with OOo are coming directly form the 
office installation and should be used from there.
