first of all this is a mailing list where you have to subscribe to.
Otherwise you won't get any reply directly. You can subscribe under
http://api.openoffice.org/servlets/ProjectMailingListList

Thanks for reporting the broken links, we will fix it asap. You can find
the referenced examples as part of the OOo SDK. Download, install and
configure the SDK you can easily run the examples.
