Need to implement OLE through Java code

 Hi All,
   Our application creates openoffice doc. Our requirement is to embed files
in xls,pdf,xlsx etc format to the document created
   Our application is coded using Java. Please help us with information - if
there is any existing API that we can use in our application so that we
embed the above mentioned files to the doc created. We want this in manner
just as we get when we directly open a openoffice writer and embed a file
using "Insert - using OLE"
