Request regarding working for openoffice

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Raghuveer Varma from India and want to contribute openoffice with my
coding skills.
I am actually a IT student and know c,c++ very well and java to some extent
as i am learning it right know.
It will be my pleasure to work for openoffice and (ubuntu)
Kindly provide me with a direction to move ahead in opensource programming.
