EIS integrated into new infrastructure too

Hi there!

The OpenOffice.org external EIS (
http://tools.services.openoffice.org/EIS2/ ) has now been integrated
into our new infrastructure too.

The main thing that changed is that EIS now authenticates against our
OpenOffice.org kenai services.

For the EIS SOAP interface we have used the crypted CVS password for
authentication in the past.
This can still be done.
Thus if as a developer you are now using the same password on the
OpenOffice.org website as you used before there is no need to change
anything.

If as a developer you are using a different password than before it
would probably be hard to generate the CVS encrypted Version of the
password nowadays because the new infrastructure does not provide a CVS
server anymore. Thus we now also allow unencrypted passwords to be used
for authentication for the EIS SOAP services. If you have changed your
password you must configure the CVS_PASSWORD variable in your
$HOME/.cwsrc file and can use it unencrypted there now. Be sure to not
accidentally make that file public readable than.

Kind regards,
Bernd Eilers
