Unfortunately, the patches that make the icon switching available were not
accepted yet, and they are not going to be accepted for 2.0 :-( Now they
are targetted 2.0.1, so I hope the licensing is going to be resolved until
then - either that we find the authors of the icons from the KDE cvs/svn,
or that the icons will be an 'external' LGPL source. Without the icon
switching patches up-stream, it's not necessary to commit the icons
up-stream anyway.

You can have a look at 'Icon theme switching in OOo' thread in
http://gsl.openoffice.org/servlets/SummarizeList?listName=dev to see
all the story...

But if pclinuxos used ooo-build (http://www.go-oo.org) to create the
packages (as a lot of distros currently does), they could have both the
icons and the icon switching patches. Maybe you could point them there?

Bye,
Jan
