Oracle still owns copyright to whatever code they previously
held copyright to. The ASF does not require copyright assignment.
Oracle donated all the code they have copyright to to the
ASF via our standard Software Grant:
http://www.apache.org/licenses/software-grant.txt
Under the same vehicle Oracle also:
"...hereby disclaims any and all continuing interest in the trademark Op=
enOffice
for the software, and assigns those trademarks and their associated goo=
dwill to
the Foundation along with this license grant to the Software."

The ASF is reaching out to them now... Beforehand, the ASF was
not involved in the discussions w/i Oracle regarding its
decisions.
