In addition the Mac Porting Team isn't that big on numbers. 
Milestones 680_m9x still have major issues in java and still have 
their way to go till they reach beta or even public milestone 
status so it would be a waste of needed resources to start porting 
OOo to 64bit on Mac OS X. If Linux PPC folks want to do it let them 
do it but for OS X I think we currently can live with 32bit and 
focus on getting things done with Milestones 680_m9x and higher. 

We needn't do what others do because it's cool or because everyone 
else is doing it.
