That's not quite true. I just changed the makefile.mk accordingly in  
order to let it compile. I chose to do it because I got a missing  
freetype header error in vcl. I'll create an issue for that once my  
Mac is fully workable again.
I had to reinstall Tiger because I first decided that I wanted to use  
the new case-sensitive HFS+ but some (presumably badly programmed)  
apps don't like it so I changed it back to standard HFS+.
