No problem.  The next problem I ran into was soltools and a declaration 
for __objcInit.  I will look and see if there is a patch for 1.9.x out 
there.  I think this will prove to be a long process, but this is how 
the project 'grows'.

BTW, I saved off a copy of the checkout for m54 with and without the 
stlport patches.
