With your linuxppc patch (i.e. otherjre.cxx in m104), the first string 
in ar[] becomes "/../../../JavaVM/lib/something/client/libjvm.so" on 
MACOSX.  So this doesn't work only in #ifdef MACOSX ;)

Oops, s/getLibraryPaths/getRuntimePaths/.
