In OOo yes, sure.  XKEYBOARD extension is missing with new Apple's X11. 
Now, X11 has to be launched with +kb option to workaround it, or 
keyboard has to be mapped differently as another workaround.

I don't know what happens with XDarwin ? Someone knows ?

Waiting, I have an idea for fix this directly in OOo code (Mac OS X 
only). Because I'm not sure it will work, I'd prefer do some tests 
before discuss about this.

Just a question of one or two days  :-)
