Unfortunately, i don't have a Mac i can play with. Thank you for the 
detailed info on installation.

It looks like there's a bug (issue 51928) that will keep us from using 
Base for this project, unless it magically gets fixed very soon. I will 
be kekeping my eye on Base for future projects, though.
