Hi, A point about the Mac OS X status for 1.9.xxx (for me m118, not the time do build m120), in order to decide if we still have chances or not for 2.0 : - sound is broken #i48216# (help is welcome) - java is broken, but the problem will probably be solved this next week. For more informations, see #i47888#. Two solutions were tested, all are described in #i47888#. I still have a break with my last new code, so please don't use it... Thank's to P. Luby for his help. - X11 keyboard problem... : not solved because of a strange behaviour from X11 : xmodmap works only the second time an X11 application is started... If we have the right to do this, I propose to provide our own version of X11 (just the necessary). Again, only if this is possible (for legal reasons). - Florian's metapackager shell script : tested, works fine. Great work ! The purpose is simply to have only one package at the end for every locale built. *I propose* to use/integrate this script (simply located in solenv/bin). Ok ? Bad : We have not yet choosen the installer... yes I know :-/ - icons for installer : I have icons, 128x128, but they're not correct (because they're aliased ). I wonder why there's no repository in OOo site to help.... ??? I miss the URL ? Else, who is OOo designer ? Is it possible to contact her/him to obtain high quality icons ? Thank's in advance :-) Some new features around macosx10 : - locale seems to work really fine now ( Tino's work) - scanner now works really : see #i48285# Last but not least, let me talk about a new important (IMHO) feature : gtkplugin *and* kdeplugin (since this evening !) are now working ->see #i52381# for gtkplugin. The first one works really better than the second, so I decided to not use it yet. With this change, gtk or kde themes can directly be used on Mac OSX ! This is very important for Mac OSX port, because look is often the reason to *not* use OOo.
