Try building using SRX645_m57. It is the latest release and should build. If you continue to get errors, let us know and we are here to help.

Subject: [porting-dev] Problem building on MacOS

Hi:

I'm trying to compile OpenOffice on a MacOS plataform.
I followed the instructions on the web page for
building OOo1.1.1 rSRX645_m35.

- My system is a G5 running tiger 10.4.2
- gcc 3.3
- x11 1.1 xfree86 4.4.0

So when I tried to build...I got this error:

dmake: Error code 2, while making
> './unxmacxp.pro/misc/build/so_built_so_stlport'

So I CVS this:

cws_fix645_ooo111fix2 (on my openoffice root directory
  cvs -z3 co -r cws_fix645_ooo111fix2 OpenOffice).

Then I got this other error:

...
-lsvunzip -lX11 -lpthread -lm -filelist
../../unxmacxp.pro/misc/ooovirg.list
ld: can't locate file for: -lsvunzip
dmake: Error code 1, while making
'../../unxmacxp.pro/bin/ooovirg'

So I manually change Makefile.mk from the
/virgule/source/unx
following this:
http://ooo.ximian.com/bonsai/cvsview2.cgi?diff_mode=context&whitespace_mode=show&subdir=tools/contrib/virgule/source/unx&command=DIFF_FRAMESET&file=makefile.mk&rev1=1.1&rev2=1.1.4.1&root=/var/cvsup

But then after I did that, I got the first error
again...

dmake: Error code 2, while making
> './unxmacxp.pro/misc/build/so_built_so_stlport'

So It's like a catch22...and I don't know what to do.

Any ideas??

thanks.
