I successfully compiled current Milestone OOo 680_123 for Mac OS X 
X11.

Build enviroment: 
Mac OS X 10.3.9 including all the latest security patches and other 
fixes
gcc 3.3. out of XCode 1.5 plus November 2003 gcc 3.3 update
Darwinports gtk2 2.6.7_0
Apple's X11
pre-build Mozilla 1.7.5 packages
and as adviced by James McKenzie Ant 1.6.5

I applied the following patches out of cws macosx10

Issue 51940 is said to be fixed in cws gslpatches4 which by now 
isn't merged into main source code tree. 

While using the patch for creating a disk image out of Issue 42998 
<http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=42998> I got the 
following error:

This was very easy to fix. Simply apply a 

"chmod 755" 

on the file mentioned in the error and there you go, the packing 
process continues and finishs successfully. 

The packages currently aren't available for download and if I can't 
find another FTP Server they will only be available to a small 
testing community in germnay due to a traffic limit for the server 
I can put them on. 

To my surprise gpc wasn't needed any longer. See Issue 
<http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=24832> or is this 
one wrong? If this can be verified by other Mac OS X builders I 
will remove gpc as a depency from my build instructions for 680 
Milestones.
