You may have to build a new child work space and then feed it back. 
cws_macxjoin1153 was built for m53.  I don't know if it made it into 
m54, but I suspect not because patches from that workspace are still 
needed to build on MacOSX with m57.  I am still trying to solve the 
crimson.jar problem and may have a fix soon.
