Congratulations! 2.4GHz Opteron is surely very very fast.
I took a povray benchmark of 1.6GHz Opteron and 3.4GHz Xeon,
Opteron is faster than Xeon. compilation time is also faster.

so 2.4GHz opteron is extremely fast.
