No, works just fine. If you tell us what you did, we could tell you
what to change.

For reference, I use:
(note the quoting if the parameter includes spaces)

./configure --with-use-shell=tcsh --with-lang=de --enable-crashdump=no \
  --with-cl-home="/cygdrive/c/MSVS2003/Vc7" \
  --with-jdk-home="/cygdrive/c/Program Files/Java/jdk1.5.0_03" \
  --with-ant-home=/cygdrive/c/apache-ant-1.6.5 \
  --with-csc-path=/cygdrive/c/WINDOWS/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v1.1.4322 \
  --with-build-version="W32-tcsh on opti"

configure certainly also checks the path, so this has to work too.
