[website-dev] Just upgraded to 3.1+problem opening old docs

Have just upgraded to Open Officce 3.1 and see that all files previously designated .rtf cannot be opened unless changed to .odt.

I have many such files in my computer - do I have to rename each individually or is there a way to change all so that they can be opened.

I notice that any new document I create has .odt and no problem to open
