xslt engine + test files

I'm trying to find out if there are any test Writer files which people have=
 used
for testing an output XSLT transform. I.e. a file which tests most, if not =
all,
of the options, to fully test a stylesheet.

Also, which XSLT engine is used 'internally' (if that is the right word)?
Is it one of the Xalans?
