Beste mensen,

I think/hope that most of you have already read the FAQ posting[1] from
Christoph and seen the video[2] from Andreas & Florian about status,
motivation and short term roadmap for Project Renaissance. This included
how we will proceed towards OOo 3.3.

We will focus on UX related issues in Impress and will improve the
interaction, especially on common task needed in every days work when
creating presentations. We will use our usage tracking data[3], survey
data[4] and your input to create a proposal for OOo Impress 3.3. This is
a kind of clear out before moving to a new house (in our case UI) and
fits very good to OOo's iterative development process.

I have already made some queries about UX related issues, but there are
not many flagged as such in the system. I am absolutely sure that we
have tons of UX related issues for Impress. So please join me to collect
a list of important issues to be considered when creating a plan for
Impress 3.3.

I have started a wiki page to collect those issues and to define common
tasks. Please feel free to add you favorites:

Thank you in advance for your help to take the next step with Project
Renaissance.

Best regards,

Frank
