Problem with OO converting small i to big I

Hello. I have a really annoying problem with Open Office ver. 3.2. Everytime I write "i" it automatically changes to "I". I've tried to correct this through the autocorrection function (I don't know what is called ind english, I have danish Open Office. In danish it's "Funktioner" --> "Autokorrekturindstillinger") but i --> I is not on the replacementlist, so I can't change it. Is this just a problem with Open Office, or am I doing something wrong? Please help! I also have another problem. I' not sure, what is is called, but if I write like this: Bla bla - bla bla - bla bla - bla bla - bla bla - bla bla It turns into: Bla bla - bla bla - bla bla - bla bla - bla bla If I save the document, an reopen it. How do I avoid this?
