It is x86 code (intel-AMD). Smartphones have RISC CPUs (usually ARM or MIPS), which means it requires porting work before it can be used on those platforms. That´s leaving aside the issue of size. Smartphones have lots less resoures (RAM and storage space) than desktops. OpenOffice is a desktop application. You might want to look at ThinkFree Office, which is a commercial Office suite, and supports both Desktop and Mobile OSs (currently only Android) http://product.thinkfree.com/mobile btw: English lesson of the day: "Dear" as a noun, without any other word attached to it, is better used between husband and wife, or a couple. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/dear Noun (sometimes initial capital letter) an affectionate or familiar term of address (sometimes offensive when used to a stranger, subordinate, etc.) So, "Dear"... respectfully, your English sucks. Try to run it through a grammar checker next time to avoid public embarrasment. We´ve all "been there" at some point in life, but it´s never too late to learn. :-) FC -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to [email protected] For additional commands send email to [email protected] with Subject: help
