Marco, My long history with this and other OOo lists proves that I do not make it a practice to engage in these kind of exchanges. By the same token, I do have the right of reply to unjustified criticism on a public list. The official list guidelines say "SHOULD only..." not "MUST only..." There is a distinct difference between the meaning of the words should and must. When we established that guideline we only ever intended it to be just that "a guide line", not an unbreakable law. Since we are quoting from the official guidelines: "Preface: OpenOffice.org does not allow: Personal attacks (not criticising a position, but slamming or flaming the writer) Participate but be polite Members are encouraged to participate in any mailing list as long as they honor Open Source principles of respect to other members and to the project at hand. Rudeness is not acceptable. Be polite. I am puzzled why you claim that "it's you and Fernando that are filling the archives with worthless remarks, and should stop immediately" and then proceed to post to the list, instead of addressing your reprimand to me off list. Now can we please either let it go, or as stated in my last post, take it off-list.
