First: this is a mailing list, people who respond are users of OOo and 
provide help as best we can.

Second: It would help to know what operating system, guessing some 
version of Windows, and the version of OOo.

With that.  A sudden change in operation suggest a corrupted user 
profile.  See 
http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?p=58403#p58403 
on how to reset the user profile.

If this does not work it would be best, if possible, to upload a copy of 
the file on a file share site, like dropbox, and place a link back here. 
  It is easier to see a problem than read about it.
