Thanks for the release. On Thu, Jun 07, 2007, Jonathan Ben Avraham wrote about "[OOo-Hebrew] [YBA] Hebrew OOo 2.2 for Fedora Released": > There are two released versions, the "regular" version with an integrated > "Hspell" Hebrew spell-checking engine by Nadav HarEl and Dan Kenigsberg, > and another called "girsat milonim" that uses an embedded Hebrew > dictionary with the "hunspell" (yes, Hungarian) spell-checking engine > instead of "Hspell". Both versions work fine in Hebrew. The "Hspell" > version loads faster but the "hunspell" version offers more suggested > corrections. YMMV. I assume the hunspell version also uses the Hspell dictionary (just not the code), right? There's nothing "Hungrian" about Hspell's dictionary in myspell format :-) What does the Windows version use - also the myspell-(now hunspell-) format Hspell dictionary? By the way, it would be great if you added in the Web site some comment about the specific free software license that Open Office is released under. Please remember that Hspell (both the code, and the myspell-format dictionary) is GPL (yes I know, legal headache :( ). Thanks again for the release.
