thanks for your answer.

in fact, i wanted to install the 2.2.* hebrew edition, and i turned to
alien because it doesn't provide debs.

i know there was a plan to merge all hebrew issues in the debian
package, but rene (the debian maintainer of ooo) said it's not done.

so, as we are now far beyond the planned deb release, i was asking how
to install the latest tk version of ooo on a debian testing system.
