Hi Micha,

One way to do it is by using the font substitution table in
Tools/Options/OpenOffice.org/Fonts. Substitute your new fonts for the
font used by the UI.

On my machine, that font is "Nachlieli". This may or may not be the case
on your machine. There is a list of UI font candidates in the registry
file /opt/openoffice.org2/share/registry/data/org/openoffice/VCL.xcu.
OOo goes through that list, and uses for the UI the first font that it
finds is installed on your machine. If you want to look at the file,
search for "nachlieliCLM", and you'll find the appropriate section.
There are number of lines there, with lists for various modules in OOo.
One of them is for the UI.

If you're brave, you can try editing VCL.xcu, and putting your new font
at the top of the list. However, I tried this today and it didn't work.
I'm not sure why not, since I've done this succesfully before. Font
substitution should work, though.
