It appears to be a deb.sh file. What is this sh ending ? why isn't it just a deb file so I can install it painlessly through synaptic package manager ?

I did not try it myself but it seems to be a sh script. Install it with
sh OOo_2.0_linux_install_he_deb.sh
from a command line.

I have no idea why they decided to package it like that.
