מחשבי Palm מגיעים אם PalmDesktop, שהיא תכנה סבירה. מרבית מחשבים
WindowsCE מגיעים עם רשיון Outlook. כך שזו איננה בעיה כל כך גדולה.
בסביבת לינוקס קיימים Kontact ו-Evolution, המסתנכנים עם מחשבי כף יד.
נובל כיום מסיבה את Evolution לסביבת Windows. יתכן כי זה יראה כפתרון,
אם כי ראה את הערותי בהמשך.

ישנו מעגל קסמים של ביצה ותרגולת מבית מיקוסופט. לשימוש יעיל במחשב כף יד
מבוסס Windows, צריך Outlook, שמצידו מעודד Exchange לשימוש מיטבי, שמצדו
דורש Windows. חד גדיא.

יומן, אנשי קשר ומטלות, להשקפתי, אינן פונקציות של תכנת הדואר. המיזוג של
הפונקציות היא פןעך יוצא של Outlook. ולא בכדי זוהי תוכנה כבדה ולא
יציבה.
