I wonder, how do other projects handle this situation? I mean, every project

I know that Debian has a 'non-US' repository. Could something like that be 
done for OOo? I don't know the details, but it looks like Debian found a way 
to put some things in US servers and other things in other servers. Does CVS 
have this functionality?

Just trying to gather information and expore options.
