Hi all, Please look at the CDAC advertisement in the "The Times of India" today (20/05/05) . It is an invitation to all the local language computing groups to contribute any free software that they have for wide scale distribution (about 3 million each). One of the important highlights of this ad is that it has specially asked for localised OpenOffice rather than any other office suite. Goes to tell that OpenOffice has finally arrived in a big way in India and has got full backing from the government. So big opportunity Indic NL groups and let us get ready for it.
