For the archives - from http://www.openoffice.org/ click "I need help
with my OpenOffice.org", then in the "OpenOffice Community Support"
section, next to "Users Mail List" click the "Archives" link.

Is there any reason you can't install OpenOffice.org on the laptop to
run the presentation?

The SWF export option is under File > Export... and select "Macromedia
Flash (SWF)" for "Save as type". I've never done this myself, so no idea
how well it actually works.

Presumably the Flash Player plugin from Adobe, and an application to
host the plugin (e.g. Internet Explorer or Firefox), though again I've
never actually done it so not sure if there might be other requirements.
