Both really. SWF export is IMO a total disaster area; playing something 
from within Impress usually works, although I've often seen jerky 
transitions, and text characters moving when they shouldn't.

[On the offchance that any developer is listening, it would be /great/ 
to be able to export a presentation as a set of, say, png's. Then one's 
favourite tool could be used to assemble into the video format of choice.]

LibreOffice - it's basically the same code as OOo, but went its own way 
some months ago.
