Now I have a Mac and downloaded OpenOffice for it - and cannot get Write. I get to the page where I can Download etc. I go to my Home page - but cannot find 'Write' or the usual Standard Toolbar. I am being dumb- but need help! How do I get the Toolbar and write?! Thank you for your help - Happy Thanksgiving - Felicity Please give more explicit details. Did you download OpenOffice.org ? ( http://download.openoffice.org/index.html ) Did you install it after downloading ? (open .dmg file you downloaded and drag OpenOffice.org.app to your Applications folder) If so OOo will be in your Applications folder. Double click on it to open. -- As a courtesy I have sent a copy of this reply to you as well as to the mailing list.
