Stationery Menu. Can it be done ?

One very handy feature of Microsoft Office is the ability to add a custom m=
enu to which I can add my short list of stationery documents that I use as =
a basis for new work over and over. I have found how I can add customised =
menus to my OpenOffice but the next step of adding specific documents elude=
s me.
Is this doable?
