THIS IS A STOPPER!

Take a look at the system requirements on
http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/source/sys_reqs_30.html

'Windows 2000 (Service Pack 2 or higher)...'

As long as Windows2000 is listed as supported OS and it don't work it is
a serious problem!

So we have two possible solutions:
Drop the support for Windows 2000 and this issue is solved or
fix this bug and keep Windows 2000 as supported OS.
