I think you are all right, but if the fix is obtained by only simply 
correcting the install script (!!!) (just one dll file in the right 
directory), I will say that we (as a big Community) make the simple 
correction for the 3.3.0 and then (3.4.0 and next), and only then, we'll 
drop the Windows 2000 support.

It's so simple, isn't it???
