Do you have concrete issues in mind which would make a 3.3.1 release
necessary ? So far nothing urgent showed up within the release status
meeting (http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/ReleaseStatus_Minutes).

We currently concentrating our efforts on improving our release process
in general
(http://blogs.sun.com/ratte/entry/some_changes_for_the_openoffice). The
objective is to get (near to) Release Quality on the Developer codeline
(see http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/OOoRelease34) and already
made pretty good progress there. I'm sure that distributors and
commercial vendors of OpenOffice.org will take some of the fruits of
these efforts and backport them to older versions.
