It appears to build upon OTRS, and does not include OTRS code itself.

I didn't see any clear license for the EriZone modules. What license do they
assert?

The opm files themselves are XML with embedded stuff, which can be taken apart to get
source code, so it also isn't clear that the source code is not "available";
absense of a github project doesn't isn't the same as unavailable, even it
may be annoying.

The whole GPL (vs LGPL) "viral" notions really applies to *LINKING* object
files, and it doesn't apply quite the same way to higher level languages like
Perl.

When using EriZone, you would be free to fix, upgrade, examine and replace
any of the GPL underlying components as you see fit.
