As far as I know, there is a way to solve this solution as we did it in translating to Persian for Sharif Linux. You can use the pipe to make them diffrent, but only for the translation. The UI still doesn't change. example: you can use "tobe|open" and "itis|open". (or "state|open" and "action|open") and only in messages list you see the string before pipe. in the application you only see the "open". and for other language it matches the suitable translation. sorry, I have no technical information about it. but I add my friends in CC to let them know about it and maybe answer us on this situation. because we had the same problem for translating to Persian and they solved the problem.
