Re: OTRS 6.0.1 encoding/decoding of special characters sent from Outlook

Hi, I am a new used to OTRS. I have installed OTRS 5 on CentOS 6.9 using Postgres 
The system frequently throws the error 500 Internal Server Error and when the page is reloaded it works.
The error_log for Apache shows,

What is the course of this error and how to fix it ? How this relates to MySql ?

Please assist me on this matter.

Hello Rudolf,

this is a bug in OTRS 6: https://bugs.otrs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13367.

The data is stored correctly, but displayed wrongly, if the mail has an encoding other than ASCII or UTF-8. The fix is in QA and will be published soon in the bug and as a part of OTRS 6 patch level 2. Apologies for the inconvenience.
