Are FAQ attachments stored differently in MySQL and PostgreSQL?

Hi!

Are FAQ attachments stored differently in MySQL and PostgreSQL?
I ask that because in MySQL I do have a "BLOB" type for the "content" column, and in PostgreSQL a "TEXT" type.
I'll appreciate your directions.
