Thanks for the quick reply and the workaround! While ADAPT_ADT is still very useful, Proxy types seem problematic and unavoidably don't work in certain situations. Do you think there would be interest in an ADAPT_REF macro? It would be similar to ADAPT_ADT, but would provide two get functions that returned a const and non-const reference instead of a getter and a setter. It wouldn't be quite as versatile as ADAPT_ADT, but would work with spirit just as well as ADAPT_STRUCT, while still providing some level of data abstraction. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Beautiful is writing same markup.
