Again, 2015 Macbook pro i7 16GB. BTW, I am using Clang, if it's not obvious.
Like my first try above with the SO code, I can get it to compile in under a
few seconds. Nothing unusual there.
This somehow leads me to believe this is a compiler problem (gcc?).
Unless I am missing something? Can you post a single cpp file just to be
sure I am building the right code?
