Sorry Seth, I've downloaded that code, and looked at the history; yet,
I don't see any indication of how it was profiled.  IOW, I don't
see any CMake file or make file or Jamfile which have recipe's with
any profiler commands such as those mentioned here:

I did run nonius with a revision of the code, as shown here:

but that just shows which code runs faster than the other,
it doesn't indicate where the code hot spots are; hence,
that's why I was interested in which profiler you used.
I've tried 2, but they don't seem much help.
