To me, minimal code would look like something like the code here: http://boost-spirit.com/home/feedback-and-support/ Anything beyond that would present some impedance, by requiring too much comprehension overhead. Minimal code is something that can be quickly understood in a minute or two. It can be done, and often times, by minimizing the issue, you'll actually discover the actual problem yourself, if not, uncover some other problem or bug in the library. Do you think it's unreasonable to ask? That's a sincere question and I'd really want to know. Perhaps it's just that holiday laziness on my part :-) Happy New Year, BTW!
