Archie-- If someone already has a coWiki site and drops in the new parser, will it automatically work? (i.e., is the intermediate XML for the old parser a subset of what the new one understands?) Perhaps the new parser should add an internal version tag to the XML so we can use it... Re: the odd characters-- This isn't a problem we can afford to ignore because many of our users are using non-roman alphabets! I'm guessing it is a character representation problem. Is it possible to identify where in the code it is hanging? The document is lost only because the parser hangs, right? Paul PS-- Daniel, there comes a point where wider testing is needed and changes need to be committed to make that practical. Code in the development branch should not be flakey, but it won't be perfect either! I'm glad for what Archie has been doing! Let's encourage him, not beat him-- OK? :) PFH Archie Campbell wrote: > dtg, > > You're going to have to help me find a compromise with the > develnet.org.txt. > > * Emphasis wiki-elements will need to be doubled for the new parser to > process them.
